The FREE lunch lives
MSNBC published an article on its website yesterday listing places to get free grub, samples, handouts etc. Many of them do not apply in Minnesota but overall it offers very good ideas and resources. Why not check it out?
If you know of a deal, bargain or money-saving hint that would benefit people living in the Southwest Metro area of the Twin Cities, please email me. No solicitations or sales calls please. :-)
What's the point?
During a Dave Ramsey course called Financial Peace University, it became apparent that it would be beneficial to have one location where people in the Southwest Metro Area of Minnesota could find and share deals, bargains, and resources. As such, this blog is simply intended to be a clearing house of potential bargains.

I am a working mother of two teenagers. I have always lived frugally; my own mother raised us using tips from a newsletter called The Tightwad Gazette. In 15 years of marriage, I think the only things my husband and I have ever purchased brand new are shoes and groceries.
